HELLO AND WELCOME!

My name is Vreni and I am a freelance artist and mother of three children. My powerful and colorful artworks lovingly and honestly express the whole reality of motherhood.

The countless small and big moments of joy and pride as well as the overwhelming times of chaos, doubt, frustration and boredom inspire my work every day.

MY DAILY INSPIRATION

My inner emotional world as a mother - which is so much richer and more complex than anything I expected - flows through my art onto paper.

It is always my goal to create a harmoniously colorful and inspiring work of art, even if my paintings often start out chaotically. It is precisely this challenge that I face every day in my job as a mother.

In this way, my works express the beautiful and harmonious and spread an atmosphere of calm and joy without denying the chaos.
They are intended to accompany mothers in the hustle and bustle of real life - the life in which there is dust and strife, laughter and tears, shame and pride, anger and wonder.

So pretty much everything except perfection and constant rest (because that's suspicious... keyword: What do you think they're doing?).

I live and work with my husband and our three children on the edge of the Wauwiler-Moos.

In the green plain with its wonderful nature I find the peace and harmony for my pictures.

I don't have to look for or find the chaos, since my studio is in our house, it always comes by itself ;-)

When I'm not painting or thinking about the role of mother in our current society, I spend my time in the garden and baking bread, every now and then I find a quiet moment to read (or sleep with a book...).
